Father, you prepared the Virgin Mary to be the worthy mother of your Son. You let her share beforehand in the salvation Christ would bring by his death, and kept her sinless from the first moment of her conception. Help us by her prayers to live in your presence without sin.
O Mary, Mother of grace and Mother of mercy, do thou protect us from our enemy, and, receive us at the hour of our death. Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O sacred Virgin; Give me strength against thine enemies. My Queen! My Mother! Remember, I am thine own. Keep me, guard me, as thy property and possession.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that, we, to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, may by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
